Foss4g.be is proud to announce the implementation of a Hackathon

This event will take place in the BRIC (Center for Informatics of the Brussels Region) Wednesday, October 28th, 2015 during a whole day . The format of the day will the different teams with the opportunity to compete amicably in the development of projects in relation with Open Data and Smart City (Mobility – Environment – administrative services (to citizens) – quality of life)

In reward, prize money, coaching by companies and a presentation in plenary on Foss4g.be.
During the day, a catering equipped to meet the vital needs of the participants.

Agenda

The objectives and opportunities are multiple.
For it will be possible for the numerous open data sources available in the Brussels Region, and elsewhere, to discover and use. For this event there will be a “ CKAN ” platform will be developed and it will be possible to familiarize themselves or to improve in the use of software through   OSGeo- Live .

We are aware that é é. one day will not be enough to complete the projects
That is why at the end of the deliberations, in addition to the price that will be paid by INNOVIRIS - the organization responsible for the promotion of research and innovation in the Brussels Region - proposes to assess the feasibility of the BUSINESS le development the winning project.

This day is an excellent opportunity for people with offered from é é nlopend profile (data manager, web designer, developer, geomatician …) coming from different backgrounds (administrations, enterprises, social associations …) to the to unite forces in order to promote the values ​​of the Open Source.
